A strict health and safety adult to children ratio policy is active at Alton Towers Waterpark at all times. The rules state that 1 responsible adult is required for every child aged 0-4 years and/or 1 responsible adult for every 2 children aged 5-9 years. The responsible adult must accompany the children into the water. Alton Towers insist that entry may be refused if the policies are not met.
