Alton Towers Resort's New Rollercoaster, Th13teen, launched March 2010!

A brand new ride at Alton Towers Resort, Th13teen joins a long line of world-first attractions at the Alton Towers Resort including Nemesis, Oblivion and Air.

A thrilling and exhilarating rollercoaster, Th13teen is based on the discovery of an unearthed ancient burial site in an area of unexplored woodland known as the Dark Forest. Situated on the site of the old Corskscrew ride, you will be invited to venture into the seemingly living and breathing Dark Forest. There you will face an unknown horror that has been unleashed from the ancient crypt.

Thirteen has been developed with the world's leading rollercoaster and thrill consultants to combine the ultimate elements of physical and psychological fear and promises to be the ultimate rollercoaster ride experience combining unique physical and terrifying psychological scares. Experience the unexpected upon the latest exhilarating addition to the Resort, but you have been warned, nothing will prepare you for the intensity of this attraction!

New for 2010 comes Sonic Spinball

Spinball have teamed up with Sonic the Hedgehog to give Spinball Whizzer a revamp. Each ride is different so you never know if you'll spin or drop - or in what direction!

With so many rides to enjoy including The Beastie, the kids will want to go on again and again. You can even experience Charlie's journey through the Chocolate Factory and board the great glass elevator.
